One last thing

Before I put away the rest of the Christmas decorations, I just had to show this cute banner my friend Cami gave me. I love it!
The chocolate brown goes well with the Mistletoe Manor quilt on the couch and under the tree.
Her neighbor makes and sells kits for all different kinds of banners. Check it out here. People come up with cute stuff!
I always love the week after Christmas. In recent years - the 'mom years' - in particular because my list is finally finished and I can just enjoy the lights, decorations, music, food, etc. But now I am looking forward to putting away the clutter. (I was so excited to get the gingerbread house off my limited counter space! I let the kids go at it today and gleefully dumped it when they were done.) We have a birthday party to plan next week and after that, I have a list of projects I want to work on! Yay for January.

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!
