Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.
I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.
I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!

What a cute little place! I just am in love with all the trims. I love to collect buttons too, and those are fantastic. I usually say to myself that I will use them on a bag or something of the sort, but really am never sure.
ReplyDeleteI'm so jealous you got to spend some time in Carmel. I was raised not too far away and I love to browse the little shops. Next time I go home I will have to go see "Findings". I love the wonderful buttons! And the trims!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute quilt store! Great fabric choice and I can't wait to see the quilt!
ReplyDeletewhat a great little shop! I like the small ones the best anyway, i get totally overwhelmed in a huge fabric warehouse. I need hours in the big stores because i just wander... i can be so flaky and change my mind a million times!
ReplyDeletethe fabric you chose is so pretty. can't wait to see what you decide to do with it!
The glass buttons are so beautiful. I guess if you made a bag for yourself, you could put one of the beauties on the front. Otherwise, just keep them til something comes to you.
ReplyDeleteI did not realize Carmel had a choice of fabric shops. The times I have been there with my husband, so we did not concentrate on quilting. Sounds like all of you had a lot of fun.
Oh, my! I want to go to that store.. No wait...I NEED to go to that store.
ReplyDeleteoh my i thought we were friends! why was i not invited to this wonderful place?! ;)
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be able to not steal everything and run out of the store! Just the sort of places I wish we had locally here.
