A little something

A sweet friend of mine is moving, so I wanted to make a little something for her. And since she is a quilter, this was the perfect something.

This little pin cushion was simple and fun to make. You can find the pattern here.
Plus, it made me feel springy to make it. We are having sunny skies and [slightly] warmer temperatures. I am starting to feel symptoms of spring fever . . .

  1. Hello and nice to meet you! Your friend is going to love the pincushion.

    Thanks for sharing.

  2. What a great little gift. She will love it!

  3. oh look how cute that is! i love those colors and everything!

  4. I'm so ready to look out the window in my sewing room and see buds. Love the pincushion. How did you secure it? I need to find the right glue to do this since I'm teaching a class and the technique is somewhat like this. I have several glues but I'm always wondering what is best.

  5. Who wouldn't love that? Pincushions are so cute. I love the Recess line of fabrics, I am just now finishing a quilt out of it for my mom. I am so glad that you found the swap and want it, it will be fun.

  6. Amy- that is so cute! We have to get together and do fun little crafts like this while the kids destroy the house! So much fun!

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ Thanks!
