Cute stuff

Have I mentioned how in love I am with the tutorials on Sew Mama Sew? I made this cute and EASY little camera case using this tutorial. Used scraps from my bag. Just don't laugh at my pathetic first attempt at sewing an elastic loop. Yes, so it's really off-center. I didn't know how to pin the thin elastic, so I just tried to hold it in place, but that didn't work so well. Oops. Oh well. At least my camera is now slightly more protected and totally chic.

Here is another little project I'm dying to make - esp now that I have all those zippers! :) The only problem is I can not find my zipper foot anywhere. I guess I'm going to have to break down and buy a new one, because what good are 60 zippers without a zipper foot?

  1. How convenient. I was just musing about how to find a totally unique scripture case for your #2 for next July (I know, I'm a little premature)without going back to Chile. I had the thought, well, I guess I could make it.

You'll have to let me know when it gets closer what colors she's into and what size scriptures.

  2. I love both projects. You are right you have a totally super cool camera case! I hope you can locate your zipper foot to make that wonderful little bag. That would make a terrific bag to cart sewing items in to classes. Or possibly a make up bag. Have a great day!
