Finished quilt

A new something for the etsy shop.
I've posted about this quilt previously but I thought I would share the finished product.
This little baby quilt turned out so sweet. It is made entirely from Joanna Figueroa's Dandelion Girl line for Moda. I have to say, this is one of my all-time favorite collections. I always like Joanna's lines - pretty and traditional, but her colors are always different and fresh.
This one just makes me feel like summer.
The quilt is currently available to buy in my shop. But I am also putting together a few kits from my left-over pieces to make your own. The kit comes with everything needed for front and back and bias-binding. I will list the kits by Monday.
I have two choices for backs: Either the green floral with a green gingham bias binding, or the blue graphic design with a blue gingham bias binding.
(Personally, I love that green. I reminds me of my grandma's lime-green living room when I was growing up. Which in 1995 made us laugh. Lime green! But now would be the height of chic again.)

  2. I still love lime green. Maybe I just never got over it from the 1960's.

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!
