Uh, is there any chance you could post a tutorial on these hexagons?? LOVE! AMAZING!!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt looks great! I do like that idea of including the selvadge!
ReplyDeleteI love your hexagon quilt! I would love to make one like it sometime. American Jane is one of my favorites.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! I particularly like the way you pieced the striped hexagons.
ReplyDeleteamaizing!!!! i love the hexagon quilt pattern!
ReplyDeletei really love that quilt! the eclectic patterns really came together nicely.
ReplyDeleteThat looks awesome! I have a twin size (or maybe large throw size) quilt top pieced in the Merry Go Round pattern, using the Recess line. The pointy edges were holding me back, though. I was NOT looking forward to binding it. Maybe I'll add a border instead!
ReplyDeleteWow.. love this one.. so much summer..:o))
ReplyDeleteI LOVE it! I agree--tutorial next! The selvage in the back is a cute touch (not to mention the lovely flower pattern.)
ReplyDeleteit looks great!
ReplyDeleteI have been dying to make that Merry Go round quilt. I like how you varied the widths!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this quilt! The playful fabrics as hexagons really works well--it's retro yet very contemporary. Great idea to include that bit of selvage. Nice work!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is simply beautiful! I love all the different colors and patterns, it makes it a real eye catcher. Totally agree with the yellow border. Great job Amy!
ReplyDeleteh, i love this one. great job!
ReplyDeleteI love your quilt. Great design & color.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. I'd also be interested in a write up (tutorial) on how you made it.

ReplyDeleteI love this quilt! So fun.
ReplyDeleteThis is so cutest! I love it...you did a great job! Keep up the great work!
ReplyDeleteLove this quilt...and the selvedge strip on the back is a great idea!
ReplyDeleteWow! That is one amazing quilt.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how hexagons are not difficult...I seem to have a problem with straight strips,LOL.
Love it.
Great quilt:) I LOVE the piece of selvage on the back!
ReplyDeleteFabulous quilt!! I love the bit of selvage on the back - as an identifier Good thinking!
ReplyDeleteVery cute!
ReplyDeleteI have that pattern and have wanted to make it. I love how yours turned out! Very cute and fun!
ReplyDeleteJoining the chorus: This is my favorite one so far. I don't know if you've ever seen the "circles" that Nana Jean makes, but this quilt looks like the piles of them she's had on her tv tray for as long as I can remember. Someday when you're trying to decide what you should make me when I'm getting married, choose this!
ReplyDeleteFantastic finish! I have that pattern too and I like your straight border. It really does have a calming effect. The little bit of selvage was a stroke of genius. Love the whole thing.
ReplyDeletei love the hexagon quilt! i made one with all jelly roll strips from neptune.. i'll be posting it soon!
ReplyDeleteThat is so incredibly darling. I love the stripes in the hexagons.
ReplyDeleteLOVE the inclusion of the Fabric name on its selvage. Brilliant.
ReplyDeleteAnd the Merry Go Round pattern is terrific with the Snippets collection.
Also, I appreciate the yellow in the border as it draws from the fabric colors and yet controls all the pattern action. Well done!
