This fun little pile of fabric came from Sew Mama’s shop just recently and it was all on sale!
Wow. That was fun! What a weekend, thanks to Sew Mama Sew. I will admit I didn’t get to visit every giveaway I would have liked and I am still checking out posted links. So please be patient with me. I’ve never had my inbox so inundated! Thanks so much to those of you who shared. I found some really fun stuff through those links.
I will also try to answer some of the questions too. The main question I can answer here is that no, there is no pattern for that Arcadia quilt. It was my first real attempt at improve sewing. Working with the Moda pre-cuts made it really quick. Basically I can tell you this – it’s a big strip quilt. I would sew sets of strips together and at random places, rotary-cut across those strip sets and insert a big layer cake square. All very random. It was a really fun, liberating excercise!
Okay, so now the moment you’ve all been waiting for. . . (and I’m sorry the wait was so long. First day of summer break here and both the computer and I have more people vying for our attention.)
