I finally finished the picot quilt for the shop where I work, American Quilting. They got a cheerful collection of vintage-inspired fabrics and we decided to make a simple, summery quilt out of them. I'm happy with how it turned out. And how it looks on my table. Too bad I can't keep it there. :) (It's okay - it would only get covered with all sorts of stains and other interesting stuff). And look, there's my happy hutch.
I think that cherry print is my favorite.
This was quilted by the talented Becky Heslop.
Don't you love those little flowers?
The back. I just noticed that this fabric is half price at the Fat Quarter Shop.
And speaking of vintagey-retro stuff, check out these cute (real) vintage Fiestaware salt & pepper shakers my mother-in-law gave me for my birthday. She knew I was totally digging turquoise these days. She must read my blog. :)
