So you think you can design fabric . . .

Now's your chance!

Did you hear about this opportunity to design fabric with Michael Miller and Spoonflower?  You can read more about it at Project Selvage.  I personally do not think I have what it takes to be a fabric designer. What skill set I have lies with a rotary cutter, but not a paint brush. But if YOU do, you should go for it. Would that be awesome? And if you win, will you let me play with your fabric?

  1. I have never designed fabric but have said to myself, "I could do that." I'm going to try! If I win, you could totally play with my fabric.

  2. Yes! I am so excited about this. I have uploaded several designs to my account but I still playing with them. You can of course play with my fabric if I win ( that will be a very long shot though!)

  5. Amy, thanks for leaving a nice comment on my blog ;) I'm so glad I hopped over here today, to see this project selvage competition. I think I might tell my readers about it too, and I think I'm going to enter ;) So excited. Thanks for this great information.

Hmmm, how am I going to start and finish two quilts, and do this project selvage submission in the next 3 weeks --well, I'm not sure, but I'm going to try ;)

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!
