Adding to the vintage-y feel of this quilt, it came out of the dryer especially crinkly thanks to the linen in the Merry Bon Bon fabric. I love the finished effect. So soft and snuggly.
This quilt was made as a sample for American Quilting in Utah and kits are now available. The quilt measures 40" x 40" and the kit comes with all the squares pre-cut (nice) as well as strips for the red pin-dot binding. (Backing is not included. 1 1/4 yards required.) Kit cost is $40.
A few other kits now available (that I did not make) at American Quilting are this Zig Zag Zoo (42" x 42") and this red and aqua quilt called Hooked (64" x 64").
This sweet baby quilt is called Maggie and Friends (42" x 42")
You can see other quilts with kits available here.
To order any kits contact the store at 801-802-7841.
Finally, American Quilting is also offering their first online Block of the Month club for this original quilt by Amy McClellan called Farmer in the Dell. Details here. BOM starts in March!
