Happy Easter

Happy Easter from our family to yours. As much as we love the bunnies and eggs and candy (esp the chocolate kind) we're watching this with our children to help them remember what Easter is really about.

It's so fitting that Easter comes in the spring - it's such a hopeful time of the year. I love the real meaning of Easter for the same reason - it's a reminder that despite our darkest times (and we all have those times) a brighter day will come. I truly believe that.

Sending love and hope to you and yours.

  2. My dear friend lost her husband of 60 years on Good Friday morning. I know she is devastated, but grateful that we have that promise of being reunited with our loved ones again one day soon. May you and yours enjoy this day and find joy in it's true meaning...

  7. Thank-you for sharing your hope and mine!

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that all who believe might be saved.

Greater love has no man than this than a man lay down his life for his friends.

To Christ be the Glory, great things He has done for all mankind.

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!
