Off the Grid

Briefly checking in.
I'm doing some of this, this weekend.
It's been good to have some uninterrupted time
with the family and to get off the grid for a while.
I'm also doing some of this while I play navigator. (Well this, and trying to keep my boisterous kids from annoying other travelers or scaring away any local wildlife.)  Be back again soon. I hope you can relax and get off the grid a little bit yourself this weekend.

I like your box for your hexies. I found an old book that has a n old box like yours wrapped in Japanese paper called Washi paper and it was this womans only belonging related to her sewing. She had in it paper hexies and some fabrics already cut, a small scissor, needle and thread. Can you imagine that was all she had . What was also kool is the back paper of hexies were love letters.

Would love to see what you do with your hexies... I have made loads recently and lost inspiration of what on earth to do with them

Are those the Tetons in the background? :) I grew up in Wyoming and will be going back to Yellowstone for the first time in quite a few years this fall. I'm really looking forward to it!

Love the lake and mountains-looks like a wonderful place to relax! Love those little hexies, perfect for quiet time. I need to make me a kit like yours so I have them all in one place to work on.
