Off the Grid

Briefly checking in.
I'm doing some of this, this weekend.
It's been good to have some uninterrupted time
with the family and to get off the grid for a while.
I'm also doing some of this while I play navigator. (Well this, and trying to keep my boisterous kids from annoying other travelers or scaring away any local wildlife.)  Be back again soon. I hope you can relax and get off the grid a little bit yourself this weekend.

  1. I like your box for your hexies. I found an old book that has a n old box like yours wrapped in Japanese paper called Washi paper and it was this womans only belonging related to her sewing. She had in it paper hexies and some fabrics already cut, a small scissor, needle and thread. Can you imagine that was all she had . What was also kool is the back paper of hexies were love letters.

Thank you so much for your comments - they make my day! I try to respond to as many as my 'mommy' time allows, but life sometimes gets in the way. Please know how much I appreciate each of them.

I apologize for the current comment settings that require a registered user account. They are the only way that I don't get tons of gross spam. I'm hoping Blogger will make a way where people who are not registered users, but would like to leave a comment can do so. Please, Blogger! In the mean time, thanks for your patience.

I also love to respond to questions. If you are a no-reply blogger, please leave an email address so I can get back to you. Or you can email me directly: amy @ diaryofaquilter.com. Thanks!
