A personal blog about quilting, sewing and life as a mother. Lots of free tutorials including beginning quilting tutorials, binding tutorials, and other sewing projects like bags, quilt blocks and nursing covers.
It’s been a crazy week behind the scenes around here, with lots in the works, but none to share yet. So I’m glad there is something fun to share, thanks to Fort Worth Fabric Studios. FWFS is an online-only fabric store out of Texas, owned and operated by Jodie Heinold. She has a fabulous selection of fabric collections from many of the major fabric manufacturers including Riley Blake, Moda, Michael Miller, Andover, and Robert Kaufman. I love how easy it is to see the available fabric collections on the FWFS site. Be sure to check out the sale sections too!
Jodie specializes in putting together wonderful bundles. If you like to mix prints from different fabric collections, but lack confidence in doing it yourself, I would highly recommend checking out Jodie’s bundles. You can find them organized by color palette or theme. The above collection is called Tangerine and Turquoise.
One of Jodie’s most popular bundles is theTa Dot Fat Quarter bundle, containing a FQ of each of the 37 prints in Michael Miller’s Ta Dot collection. Or if you’re looking for a few pieces, you can order yardage from any of the colorways in the Ta Dot collection.
Today Jodie would like to give one of you readers her latest fat quarter bundle, called Dock of the Bay. Doesn’t it just make you feel relaxed looking at all those soothing blues? Love the combination. I need a little it of those calming vibes in my life at this moment. And it’s a $40 value!
To enter take a trip to Fort Worth Fabric Studios and then leave a comment here telling me your favorite bundle or collection in stock.Giveaway open until Saturday, May 11, midnight MST. I’ll randomly select a winner. Be sure there is a way for me to contact you if you win! GIVEAWAY CLOSED
