Today I spent some time at my sewing machine for the first time in weeks. Wow, it felt so good. I made a dent in catching up on my Virtual Quilting Bee blocks.
I also spent some time catching up on blocks for my group Bee. I've been months behind. These cheerful four-patch blocks are for Jodi.Trish. I bought the pattern for this one ages ago and it's been on my "some-day" list forever. It's a huge block - finishes 20" square. Now that I've got one under my belt, I'm feeling motivated to make some more for myself. Add it back on the list.
After such a crazy busy September, I'm trying to just slow down and catch-up on life. I feel infinitely behind on anything computer or email related. I almost wonder if I'll ever catch-up. I'm also trying to slow down and just be mom and hang out a little more.
This week we took our annual trip to one of our favorite spots, Cascade Springs. Never gets old. There's something I really love about the sound of water. Makes my brain relax. I probably needed to stay a lot longer.Modern Maples quilt. One more thing to catch-up on!
