Liberty of London gift certificate from DuckaDilly

Rainbow Stash Pack

{Images from DuckaDilly}

I’m not sure if there’s many prettier things in the quilt-y world than a bundle of Liberty of London tana lawns. They’re not only beautiful visually but equally stunning to the touch as well. And one of the prettiest fabric shops online is DuckaDilly, purveyor of all things Liberty. (If you are new to Liberty of London and wondering what all the fuss is, you can read more about Liberty of London and their famous fabrics here.)

Duckadilly logo

Duckadilly, owned by Lesley, is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Lesley has been a long time connoisseur of all things Liberty – having lived in London for a time and studied around the corner from the Liberty flagship store. The DuckaDilly site is not only beautiful, but SO well organized and easy to navigate.

rainbow jelly roll unrolled

Some new arrivals in the DuckaDilly shop include the Contemporary Classics collection and the Spring Summer 2016 collection. Duckdilly specializes in carrying not only Liberty yardage, but also carries bundles and pre-cuts. One thing I’ve found with Liberty prints is that a little bit of Liberty can go a long way. Getting a variety of Liberty prints together can give you so many options!

Charm-packs-IG

One of the options is Stash Packs. These are smaller bundles, grouped by color families and available in a choice of different sizes (Fat 16ths, Fat 8ths, Fat Quarters, and half yards.)

Classic Jelly Roll

Another option is a variety of die-cut charm packs (in 5″ and 2.5″ sizes) as well as jelly roll (2.5″ wide) strips. All of these options are a great way to get a variety of prints without having to invest in a lot of yardage.

I Heart Liberty Club 2

Another great way to gradually collect Liberty prints is one of DuckaDilly’s I Love Liberty clubs. You can choose your size/price and each month a new bundle of prints will be delivered to your door.

I Heart Liberty ClubToday through Saturday, February 27, DuckaDilly is offering 10% off all orders with code DIARYOFAQUILTER (excludes gift cards, sale items, and monthly clubs).

DuckDilly also has a $50 gift certificate to giveaway to one of you! To enter, visit DuckaDilly and leave a comment here, telling me something you love. Giveaway ends Saturday, Feb 27 at midnight, MST. GIVEAWAY CLOSED>

Enjoy the eye candy!

I appreciate, Amy, that you are sharing about this fabric shop, as I’d never heard of it before, and I only live an hour away! I’m so glad to learn about it.

My current favorite item at Duckadilly is the Oxford bundle. I still remember your post about your visit to Liberty of London Amy, and I remember the photo of the pincushion you bought. She made clothes for all of us and I have some pieces I have saved to make a quilt for my yet to be born grandchild. Love the stash packs best but all Liberty is lovely. I have never heard of Liberty London before. They are beautiful colors for spring. What I love lately is sewing with my new sewing machine (Brother SE425) that my husband bought me on his birthday. It is so much lighter and easier to use than the first sewing machine (a Kenmore) he bought me on our first Christmas together.

Everything about these amazing fabrics is just gorgeous!! As I explored the site, I wasn’t sure how to choose just one thing that caught my eye: my choice was one of each!! I signed up for their newsletter as well. Having to mention just one eye-catching fabric was a chore, but I found one in the Sale section that attracted me even more than the rest: Polly Genevieve. I may just have to return and treat myself to a few little pieces to start my collection. My only problem is how does one EVER cut into such gorgeous fabrics??? Thanks for the introduction!!

I agree that a little bit of Liberty goes a long way. I got shift of a fat eighth in an international exchange and used a little at a time in special projects. Recently I used the last little scrap. I would choose a variety of scrap packs of Tana lawn maybe a rainbow stash pack if I was the lucky winner.

You’re so right, this is a beautiful site and resource. I love the options for bundles, etc. ; and so easy to search view and shop. Of course I had to see what the latest was – Artist Bloom, Posy Landscape and Tresco are my choices there. But I also went through ALL the yardage and found some classics such as Cherry Thief that are wonderful.

I’ve order from them several times and each time has been a great shopping experience. I made a beautiful doll sized quilt from Liberty fabrics that I got from Duckadilly. I live anything that allows me to be creative and artistic. I just decided to get into quilting because of my older neighbor , she has tons of neat quilting stuff! It all started when we acquired a few hundred crown royal bags and I thought they would make a unique quilt. No quilt yet so maybe this would help motivate me to win something fun to take to my neighbors! I also want to quilt because my and esters did but no one in my family does now. This is the same reason I started canning!

Thank you so much for sharing this site and the discount code. I have already placed an order and I am trying to be really disciplined and not place another.

I love, love, love Liberty Tana Lawn and have been collecting and using them for years. I am so pleased to find another source for Liberty fabric here in the states.

I love the Liberty lawns and the way Jen Kingwell combines them with Japanese and quilting prints in her quilts. Ann Arbor isn’t far from my home so I’ll have to visit Duckadilly someday. Until then I’ll order from them online.

I think the ones I love, the most, are the Tana Lawn. I would either take entirely too long to pick a single favorite or I’d have to spend less time picking a color sprcific stash pack but my gut says I’d take a RAINBOW! 🌈😊
