Some new happenings at Dinkydoo Fabrics. If you’re not familiar already, Dinkydoo is an online fabric retailer located in Vancouver, Canada that specializes in modern and contemporary fabric collections as well as pre-cuts and fat quarter bundles.

Dinkydoo is owned and operated by Alicia who is an avid quilter herself. So not only does she “get” fabric and what quilters love to use, but she also loves to teach and share great quilting tips and tutorials.

As a result, Dinkydoo fabrics has a whole bunch of new quilting video tutorials on YouTube and Facebook.

One of the most popular video tutorials so far is this Modern Mosaic block.  This blocks looks so complex when finished, but Alicia show’s you how fun and easy it is to make. And it’s such a great project for using up scraps!
