Well, I've done it again. Started another new project.  It seemed in December and January I did a really good job of finishing projects.  Hence a lot of posts with finished quilts, etc.  Lately it's all been about starting something new. This quilt has been in the works for a L O N G time.  One of those quilts that I wanted to work on (because I was making it purely for me), but always got pushed to the bottom of the priority list. A recent finish.  I love this stripy binding using Anne Kelle's Remix Bermuda stripes. Isn't it a cheerful looking binding? Brings some sunshine for dreary January. And makes me want to go to Bermuda.

Every single fabric is not identical to the ones in last year's quilt, but many are the same and all are cute and create the same look. Pre-"wonky"-cool. :)  I also kept them because they're such a relic of the dusty color pallette that was so popular in the late 80's.

It was fun to help her.

I continue to be amazed at how busy summer is.
