16 Easy Sewing Gifts for Everyone on Your List

Published: Dec 12, 2025 by Amy Smart · This post may contain affiliate links · 3 Comments

Is it just me, or do the holidays have a way of sneaking up faster and faster every year? All of a sudden we're all looking for thoughtful gifts we can sew without pulling an all-nighter at the sewing machine. That's why I'm so happy to welcome back my friend Stacey from Stacey Lee Creative to the blog today. Stacey is a talented designer, teacher, and quilt club host who specializes in beginner-friendly projects that are both beautiful and totally doable. She also organizes an annual Quilt Donation Drive for youth in foster care, which tells you a lot about her generous heart.

Today she's sharing 16 easy sewing gifts you can make for just about everyone on your list: teachers, neighbors, book lovers, teens, and more. Most of these projects use small cuts of fabric or scraps, come together quickly, and are perfect for those "I just need to sew a little something" moments (that are especially hard to find in December). I think you're going to love her ideas and tutorials, and I hope they spark some fun, low-stress sewing time for you this season.

    Meet Stacey Lee Creative

Hey there! I'm Stacey, the maker behind Stacey Lee Creative. I share weekly sewing and quilting tutorials, design beginner-friendly patterns, and run a Quilt Club for quilters who love learning together. I'm also the organizer of an annual Quilt Donation Drive supporting youth in foster care, which is one of my favorite projects each year.

I love sewing quick and easy gifts, especially when the holidays sneak up faster than expected. There's something so satisfying about taking a few scraps or a fat quarter and turning them into a handmade gift in under an hour. Whether it's for a family member, teacher, a neighbor, a coworker, or someone who just landed on your list, handmade gifts always feel personal. And the best part is that small sewing projects don't have to take all day.

Today I'm sharing 16 of my favorite last-minute gifts to sew. They're all beginner-friendly, fast to make, and great for stocking stuffers, small gifts, or just something handmade to brighten someone's day. Every project includes a full step-by-step tutorial to make it easy to follow along.

Use the link above each photo to access the tutorials.
