Now that summer is in full swing at our house, we are making weekly trips to the library. So far it’s Harry Potter, books about Tanks and Fire Trucks, and some kind of Tinkerbell series for the kids. And look what I found for me! Martha Stewart’s Encyclopedia of Sewing. I was kind of excited to get my hands on this baby and see the hype for myself. I will let you know what I think. Right now, I think it’s worth it for the pictures alone. They totally make me want to make pretty things. Then I wish I could hire Martha’s photographers to come take pictures of them.
While we’re on the subject of summer, I am staring to see the writing on the wall (or on the table or bed, as the case may be.) I’m excited for time with the kids – time to be outside and go on fun outings – but I know my computer time is going to give. And that’s okay. (So please bear with me if I seem a little more flakey for the next few months. And don’t hesitate to contact me more than once if you’re waiting on me for something. I may need that. Or you could totally blame gmail for sending it to spam. Yeah. Darn that gmail!)
