Strawberry Fields Work in Progress

I recently got my hands on some of Moda’s Strawberry Fields Layer Cakes (pre-cut fabric). I’m using the Hour Glass pattern from my shop for this particular quilt. I have another one in the works as well. Stay tuned on that one.

Strawberry Fields is such a beautiful collection – kind of Cath Kidson-ish.  I especially love the grays and blues. A bit of a change for Joanna Figueroa’s collections. Now I’m just waiting for the yardage to come out so I can put some borders on.

If you are looking for the best price on the latest Moda Pre-cuts be sure to check out Green Fairy Quilts – their prices are awesome. Sadly, they are currently out of Strawberry Fields, but she’s got lots more beauties to choose from!

I agree about the nod to Cath Kidston, now if someone local would carry her fabric!<br />I sent a quilt off to be professionally quilted yesterday and thought of you πŸ™‚ My first one!

I&#39;m new to quilting, but when I opened this window, I thought the quilt was constructed of pinwheeel blocks. Could someone explain the difference to me?

I just purchased a charm pack and was thinking piecing for totes but would like to use a canvas for the body of the tote. But I love what you did with the quilt. I have to think you quartered the layer cake and those are 5&quot; squares cut into triangles.

I love it! It kind of reminds me of the quilt you made for your daughter&#39;s bedroom. maybe it&#39;s the colors….but it&#39;s just gorgeous!
