Another day, another blog tour! It’s a busy week around these parts. So last summer or fall (I can’t remember, to be honest) I decided it would be fun to submit an original block to Quiltmaker’s newest edition of their 100 Blocks magazine.
Well, Volume 7 hits newsstands next week and I am excited to have my block in the issue!
My block is called All Roads Lead Home and you can find it on page 68 I went with something a little more modern for my block. I think it’s pretty nice on it’s own but…
I REALLY like it as part of a complete quilt. I need to make one of these quilts out of real, live fabric now!
This issue is full of quilty-inspiration. A huge variety of blocks in all different styles by some very creative people. Quiltmaker Magazine is giving away a copy of this latest volume. If you’d like the chance to win one, just leave a comment on this post. Giveaway closes on Monday, May 6, at midnight MST. A winner will be randomly selected and notified. GIVEAWAY CLOSED.
I love your block. Did you get the quilt finished? I’d love to see what you’ve done.
For links to other stops on the tour and chances to win other fabulous prizes, visit the Quilty Pleasures blog.

May 2, 2013 at 9:55 pmI am enjoying this blog tour so much. Not getting as much quilting done, but lots of inspiration. When I saw your block I thought it was interesting, but when I saw the block in your quilt design, my first thought was of argyle socks or sweaters. It's got such a modern vibe and think it would be stunning in the golds and greys shown. Might have to put it on my list of TO-DO's. Thanks
