I started quilting before there were coordinated collections to choose from and I found that collecting “colors” was a sure way to have just the right piece when I was working on a new project. I love that the collections today give me a great variety of prints that are perfectly matched but I still enjoy pulling from my stash to create with. I was taught early on that yellow and green are magic colors that really add needed “pops” in a quilt and I have found that to be very true, which has worked well since yellow is one of my favorite colors.
