Gingham Girls is back in stock + new projects!

Good news everyone! If you missed the phenomenon, you’ve got a second chance. Okay, maybe not the solar eclipse, but Gingham Girls fabric is back in stock!

If you missed out on precuts, or your favorite yardage, the collection has been reprinted and you can hopefully find it at your favorite local shop. If not there, it’s also available at these online shops: Lou Lous’s Fabric Shop, the Fat Quarter Shop, and Missouri Star.

It has been so much fun to see how other people use Gingham Girls. Here are a few more projects:

Free Pattern tutorial using 5 Gingham Girls Fat Quarters + background yardage from Andy of A Bright Corner.

I love this pattern called Preppy by Andy of A Bright Corner.

Added Bonus: it’s a free pattern using only 5 Fat Quarters + accompanying yardage!

Dulcie Dress pattern made by Jill of Knee Socks and Golidlocks using Gingham Girls fabric

I’ve loved Jill Griffith’s instagram account, Knee Socks and Golidlocks, and was so delighted when she agreed to make some vintage-inspired dresses using Gingham Girls. This is the Dulcie Dress, a free pattern from Sew Pony.

Miss Polly Dress by Sew Pony in Gingham Girls Calico print

And this darling dress is the Miss Polly Dress, also by Sew Pony. I love it’s sweet retro-vibe! And is that little model (Jill’s daughter) the cutest thing ever?!

Erica of Pink Suede Shoe, made this gingham dress (modeled by another adorable daughter-model) using the cheerful Polly Pinafore pattern by Bebekins.

I still really love those daisies on gingham!

Erica also made my darling Tova shirt using the delicious new woven ginghams from Riley Blake. The weight and drape is so perfect for clothes as well as super soft for quilting. I’m want a whole bolt of the red gingham for quilt backs!

And check out this amazing round bag made by Melissa of The PolkaDot Chair using her Alice Bag Pattern also using the woven red gingham.

I’m so grateful to these women for sharing their talents! Because I could not have made these adorable projects if left to my own devices.

Since the woven ginghams are new they’re a little trickier to find, but you can find them online from Pine Needles in all three colors. (And keep your eyes peeled for more colors coming soon!)

And, in case you want to get a jump start on this quilt for next summer, Land That I Love kits are available and on sale at JK Quilts!

For more inspiration (or in case you missed them the first time) you can find a bunch more Gingham Girls projects here, here, and here.

I just want to say, thank you SO much for the Gingham Girl love this year!  If you’ve made anything with Gingham Girls, please share! Or tag it with #GinghamGirlsFabric on social media.

I was so worried about how it would all turn out. When I got my strike-offs last winter I thought it was all a hot mess. (Further proof that when you look at something too long, it just feels blah.) Seeing it all again through fresh, new eyes was so good for me and made me not doubt myself. So I’ll let you in on a little secret: another collection is in the works for next spring! Details forthcoming.
