Greetings from St. Louis! I am here for the Spring International Quilt Market trade show where I'm exhibiting Gingham Girls with Penny Rose and Riley Blake fabrics. It's been a whirlwind. I'm hoping to have some fun pictures to share with you next week!
In the meantime, I have a bunch for fun online tutorials to share that all feature Gingham Girls fabric! Truly, one of the funnest parts of this first fabric collection is seeing how other people use it in projects - and these are some great ones! This cute Hoop Art is made by Bev at Flamingo Toes. Isn't this quilt gorgeous? This quilt pattern is called Crossroads and it's designed by Melissa of Happy Quilting. She has the full tutorial for this Crossroads quilt pattern on her blog.
I'm in LOVE with the way these sawtooth stars made using Gingham Girls by Kairle Oaks of Happy Valley Quilter pop off the white background. You could easily make some (in any size!) using this Sawtooth Star Quilt Block Tutorial.
Another classic quilt block using Gingham Girls is this Broken Dishes version make by April Rosenthal. I love the way she made the giant mono-chromatic blocks featuring the four different colors in the collection.

I am completely and totally in love with Gingham Girls and the projects you show Amy and cannot wait to begin using the fabric. Brings out some nostalgia in me and I can think of a million ways to use this fabric. I checked out Joanne's to see if they carry it and was disappointed that they do not so I will order a batch online. Love your blog and so admire you, am glad I happened upon you.

I am in love with Gingham Girls - have been following all articles about it since I first saw it. It brings back so many memories of the homesewn gingham outfits my Mom would make for my sister and I. She always got green or blue because of her red hair. I was blonde, so got the reds and pinks. Love the designer's interpretations using the fabric!
