I mentioned a few posts ago about our visit to the east coast of the United States, including a stop in the Portsmouth, New Hampshire area where my husband's family lives. I love to visit local shops while I'm traveling whenever I can. I visited Pintuck and Purl a couple of years ago, but they have since moved to a new location in North Hampton, New Hampshire.
I love featuring pretty local quilt shops from places I visit. This shop was SO inspiring- beautiful yarns, fabrics, and supplies in a bright, welcoming space - I was so happy for their growth and expansion since the last time I visited. And even if you're not going to be in the seacoast New Hampshire area any time soon, I thought I'd at least share the inspiring eye-candy.

Pintuck and Purl has moved to a bigger space in North Hampton, New Hampshire. They still carry a beautifully curated modern selection of fabric for quilting and apparel; including beautiful Liberty lawns as well as knits, and other substrates perfect for making bags and clothing.
They also specialize in high-quality yarns and supplies for knitting. Along with a great variety of patterns.
In addition to a beautifully inspiring environment, Pintuck & Purl has a large space dedicated to classes and events. I love when shops strive to create a place to build, teach, and support a community of local creatives. That really is the secret sauce for a great shop. You want it to feel like your local Cheers. 🙂
Just looking at these pictures again is motivating me to get my 'sewjo' going again - which is a great thing because it's felt a little lost and buried for the past few weeks. Hopefully the images will have the same effect on you.
