Remember on Seven Brides for Seven Brothers how all the girls make new spring frocks out of old quilts?Well, I'm not much for wearing quilts, but I did find some pretty inspiration for spring clothes I want to make. (And the fact that some of them might be made from vintage sheets means that maybe I'm not that far off from those Oregon Brides.)

Well, spring WAS here last week. Sunny and in the 60's. Of course it was the week we were sick. Now that we are well it is currently 40 degrees outside and in was snowing earlier. Boo.

that's my very favorite movie.. i think i could recite it by heart! it's my daughter's favorite too. i've always loved the dresses the girls wear in the movie. <BR/>yep, our weather is up and down too. sunny and then rainy. it won't make up it's mind!
