If you’ve been reading my blog for a while, then you know by now that I am a big fan of online fabric shop, Pink Castle Fabrics. I just love their style and selection. In addition to the online shop, they also have a brick and mortar Pink Castle Fabrics shop in Ann Arbor if you are in the area and want to check it out!
Pink Castle Fabrics has has some fantastic monthly clubs – a great way to gradually build your stash as well as receive fun surprises every month in your mailbox. On of the most popular includes their Stash Stack Club. Other clubs include Art Gallery Fabrics, Cotton + Steel, Low Volume, Notions, and Kawaii fabrics (i.e. the cute imported Japanese prints.)
Owner of Pink Castle, Brenda Ratliff is also a fabric designer in her own right. (And being both a consumer and a purveyor of good fabrics, she has a great sense of taste and style. Her recent collections are some of my favorites.) Brenda’s latest collection is called Fine Print and it’s a selection of fun low-volume text prints.
Half of the prints are tone-on-tone white-on-white and the others are black/charcoal text on white. I love that they’re not text alone, but also include sweet details and illustrations like the architectural floor plans or illustrations as part of the story of Little Red Riding Hood. I recently mocked-up my Double Crossed quilt using Fine Print and a variety of shades of solids for sashing. I love the way it plays with the low-volume prints and totally changed the look of the quilt!
You can find the Fine Print collection here.
And, fun news! Brenda has a 10-piece Fat Quarter bundle of Fine Print to giveaway to one of you! To enter, visit Pink Castle Fabrics and subscribe to their newsletter. Come back here and leave a comment letting me know that you’re a subscriber. (To leave a comment, click on the little word bubble at the top of this post, just to the right of the title.) Giveaway open until September 12, 2017. Winner will be randomly chosen.
And in even MORE fun news, all text prints in stock are 25% off this weekend (through Monday, Sept 11) with code TEXT25 at checkout. This includes pre-cut bundles or yardage! So if you’ve been looking to stock up on some fun text prints, now’s your chance!
Thanks Pink Castle Fabrics! And thanks to you for your support of these sponsors who make it possible for me to work to provide free content on this page. I hope it’s a win-win-win for everyone.
