Sharing a new version of my Lattice Quilt Pattern. This is the 4th quilt I made this year featuring my latest fabric collection with Riley Blake Designs, Albion. The Lattice quilt pattern is one of my oldest, and probably the quilt pattern I've remade the most often.

The Lattice quilt pattern is a winner for its simplicity and versatility. The classic design works with so many different looks and color palettes. You can find a kit for this Albion Lattice quilt here.

A Perfect Precuts-Friendly Quilt
This pattern is great for using 10" precuts (aka Layer Cakes or 10" Stackers). You do have to trim the squares a little, but the pre-cut squares are still the most efficient method for getting a large variety of pre-coordinated prints, colors, etc without having to buy a lot of yardage.

The large scale blocks are also perfect for showcasing large-scale, graphic fabrics.

The Lattice quilt pattern is also includes instructions for making a quilt in multiple sizes including a 67" x 82" Throw-size as well as Twin, Queen and King size bed quilts. With options for various sizes, quilters can customize their project to suit their preferences, making it ideal for everything from cozy lap quilts to stunning bedspreads.

Here are a few other versions I've made of the Lattice quilt so you can get a feel for how versatile a quilt design this is. It works equally great with bright, deep color palettes as well as washed-out prints for a more vintage vibe.

Limited Number of Quilt Kits Available
You can still find quilt kits for sale on Etsy here and here.

The Kit includes everything for the quilt top. 5 yards required for backing fabric needs to be purchased separately.
I've also listed a handful of Albion Fat Quarter Bundles and 5" precuts (aka Charm Packs) for sale now in my shop as well.

Albion yardage is still available in many online shops and perfect for summer-moving-into-fall sewing including: The Fat Quarter Shop, assorted Etsy shops, and Stitches N Giggles.
You can see more quilts and projects made with Albion fabrics here, here, here, and here.

Quick question- is the Lattice quilt on sale until the 21st or 27th?
Your email said the 27th but your blog says 21st?
Amy says
Whoops! My fault. Yes, it should say the 27th. I'll fix the post! Thanks for the heads up!

Curious how this can be made with a layer cake if the side setting triangles need 14”squares, without a variety of extra yardage. Very pretty quilt.
Amy says
You could technically cut 10" squares on the diagonal and use them for the side-setting squares, but they have a bias edge that will stretch and cause the center portion to distort, which is why I don't recommend it. But if you carefully sew on the borders, you can keep the quilt square.
Another option is 4 different Fat QUarters to get your 14" squares. This is still enough color/print variety to make the quilt look scrappy.
