I am so excited to make this block. This one is taught by Leigh of Leedle Deedle Quilts. After you use the tutorial be sure to check out Leigh's other quilts. She's got some beauties!
With that here's what you'll need:
Sashing fabric: 1 ½ yards (I'm using the white on white Lucky Penny dot)
First border: ½ yard
Outside border: 1 ½ yards
Binding: ½ yard
Backing 4 yards
Keep in mind that the color you choose for the outside border, is going to become the dominant color in your quilt.
For the corner stones and the fabric framing the blocks, you can use a variety of scraps from your fat eighth or fat quarter bundles. You will need at least 32 squares 6 ½" x 6 ½". Set them aside for framing the blocks at the end.

Oh, thanks for posting oer fabric requirements! I had forgot about All that "extra" stuff! Maybe I can start cutting out those corner stones! Or at least I can hope :0)

I really like this block and it was super easy to put together. Somehow mine came out 8.25 square...ahhh! AND I cannot, for the life of me, find a fabric combo for block #9. Sigh. I was doing so well! Got to get back on the horse before the next block pops up.

Wow, I really love this quilt and the pattern.
