Hi friends. Happy Spring. There is a lot of creative mess stuff going on around here at the moment. I'm preparing for a fun release of a bunch of new patterns this spring. I'll share more in about a month. But since you don't want to see pictures of my chaos right now (seriously, you don't) I thought I'd give you a good teaser with some of the pretty fabrics I'm using.
This cheerful bundle is Sandy Klop's newest collection Bread and Butter. If you've been around these parts for a while, you know that I'm a sucker for anything Sandy (aka American Jane) creates - especially her vintage-y prints. This collection is a total winner.
Look at how cute all of those look together. These strips are from a Moda jelly roll (2 ½" pre-cut strips). Bread and Butter should be arriving in shops about now. I've seen it available online at Southern Fabric, Fat Quarter Shop, Fort Worth Fabric Studio, DinkyDoo Fabrics, and Lady Belle Fabrics.
Also new from another Moda favorite: Jen Kingwell's Lollies. Again, these are 2 ½" precut strips, but you can see from the pictures that the yardage consists of 8 different prints. They are so vibrant and different than anything in my stash. Jen is so good at pushing me outside of my comfort zone. I'm excited to put them to use. Lollies is available from Green Fairy Quilts and Fat Quarter Shop.
Last, checkout the lushness that is Bonnie Christine's latest collection, Forest Floor. So many stand-alone beautiful prints in this collection as well as a really pretty, subtle palette overall.
The details are so pretty - including those big moths, the toadstools, and the rabbits. (Has anyone noticed that it's the year of the rabbit? Lots of bunny prints this spring.)
Forest Floor is available from Bobbie Lou's Fabric Factory, Lady Belle Fabrics, Fabricworm.
Finally, it's the final days of the big National Quilting Month giveaway from Babylock Sewing as well as their Instagram contest. There are also more free quilt blocks from folks like Eleanor Burns, Pat Sloan, Jenny Doan and others.
You can still enter to win a Babylock Sewing Machine! Check it out before the month ends!

I had to speedily scroll through this post. These are such pretty fabrics. And I'm still trying to add to my stash. Although Bread and Butter might be a deal breaker. 🙂

And I meant "NOT" add to my stash....

Hahah! I know. Somedays I feel like a drug-pusher. But in a nice way, hopefully. 😉

Always fun to see what's cooking in the Amy Kitchen, and today is no exception. I'm on my way over to FQS to get some Jen Kingwell--perfect to usher in spring!

Seeing this post (and loving those fabrics) made it easy to buy the Frivols kit when I was at a sewing retreat yesterday. Thanks for the heads up on a gorgeous line - it's even better in person! Cant wait to see what you do with it.
