There’s something about summer that makes me crave sewing with tana lawns from Liberty of London. They’re also making me nostalgic for my visit to Liberty last summer. (sigh…) I pulled out my Liberty stars that I started making on our trip last year and have loved working on it again.
One of the best US online selections of Liberty of London prints, is DuckaDilly. You must stop by their shop just to get your fill of eye-candy. Honestly. SO much pretty in one place! Duckadilly, owned by Lesley, is located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Lesley has been a long time connoisseur of all things Liberty – having lived in London and studied around the corner from the Liberty flagship store. The DuckaDilly site is not only beautiful, but SO well organized and easy to navigate. They also have a new feature – a personal Swatches gallery where you can login and store and sort the prints you’re most in love with.
In addition to yardage, DuckDilly also has multiple bundles and clubs available including the I Love Liberty monthly club where you will receive 12 different Liberty prints each month.
DuckaDilly also cuts their own precuts including Jelly Rolls, Charm Packs and Triangles.
And Duckadilly carries a large selection of bundles and stash packs – sorted by collection, color, and size. Other items in stock include prints from the 2015 Alice In Wonderland collection and Liberty trims.
Today DuckaDilly is generously giving away a $50 Gift Certificate (!) to one of you. To enter take a quick trip to DuckaDilly and have a peek at what they have in stock. Leave a comment here telling me something you love. For a second chance, sign-up for their newsletter and leave another comment. Giveaway open until Wednesday, June 24 at midnight MST. Best of luck! GIVEAWAY CLOSED.

June 20, 2015 at 5:45 amLiberty, Tana Lawn?? Where do I even begin??? Aside from the incredible feel of the fabric, as an artist, I have such an appreciation for the incredible patterns and colours used in this line. Everything from the traditional petite florals to the newer illustrated children’s storybook characters. I’ve been collecting fat quarters and 1/2 yds for years. I’m just waiting for the right quilt t to use this very special stash on, but in the meantime, I will just have to keep adding to my collection. :o)

June 21, 2015 at 8:15 amGallymoggers. My granddaughter will visit in July and she wants to make her first quilt. She is taking sewing lessons at home (800 miles away) and is making skirts and simple dresses. This summer she wants to learn how to make a quilt. Molly loves all things pink and this fabric line has prints just the right scale for the projects I am going to suggest.

June 21, 2015 at 10:04 amThanks for posting about Liberty of London. I have seen so many posts and projects with it and wondered about its origin. I found a shop in Provo that even had a few bolts of it-so much prettier in person and so soft. The Alice in Wonderland collections are beautiful, and I love the teapots. The Theo collection is pretty as well. The Penrose Rose though is gorgeous, Thanks for this contest!

June 22, 2015 at 6:46 amI REALLY like the Elizabeth Hartman quilt patterns! I can’t pick my favorite though, too many! And I would use Libery fabric to make the quilt 🙂
Jessica
June 22, 2015 at 6:50 amI am differing from the norm in here to say I’d pick some of their cute jersey knits. I have three little girls who love dresses and it’s nice to have simple ones they can pull on and off by themselves rather than needing zipped, tied, or buttoned in 🙂 I’d have to get a few yards of a few different knits for some cute dresses.

June 22, 2015 at 12:34 pmThey have so many darling things, it’s really hard to choose a favorite. I will say this though, if I won, I’d buy some of that Liberty of London Tana Lawn: Gallymoggers Reynard Grey (A) and make something for my daughter. She loves Alice in Wonderland and she just moved, so that would make a nice little housewarming gift.

June 22, 2015 at 1:50 pmSo many gorgeous prints! I have always loved Queue for the Zoo and the Miti Navy and Hera Gray will also make it into my home at some point in the near future. LOVE! My 11 yea old niece is traveling to Europe from our home in Canada this summer with my sister and her whole family, and she picked a trip to Liberty as one of her ‘must-do’ stops in London. Colour this auntie super-proud! I would love to go too but I guess I have to live vicariously through her for now. Maybe one day?!
