What the world needs now, is love, sweet love.
Good timing for all of the heart and Valentine/love-inspired-projects that are abundant this time of year.
A short while ago, Lee of May Chappell Designs, felt inspired to create a new quilt block to encourage a little more love in our lives. It's called the Love All Around block. This block was so fun to make. I think I'm going to make a couple more and make a table runner. You can find the free tutorial for Lee's Love All Around Block here.
And since making these blocks did such a great job of getting me in the mood for Valentine's Day, I thought I'd share a bunch more of my favorite heart and love-inspired quilting projects. There are so many cute ones out there. Here's a bunch:

Right back at you. xoxo

A question for you - do you know the manufacturer of the newspaper fabric?
Amy Smart
I used two different ones, but the main one is from a collection called Ardently Austen for Riley Blake Designs. They're all quotes from Jane Austen books. 🙂 But if you're not picky about what the text says, just search "Text Print Fabric" and you'll find lots of choices!

Thank you so much for all the inspiring Valentines Day projects! You sure have spread the love with all of these together and saved me more time for sewing, thank you so much Amy! Best wishes to you and yours xx/oo

I have been making mug mats for my "valentines". Lots of fun! And thank you for letting us know of the Ardently Austen fabric. I love it!

Thank you for so many ideas! Question, do you have any patterns for a big print? I have a good 1 1/2 yards of an old fashioned valentine card print of a boy and girl. Looking to find a way to use it well. I appreciate any suggestions
Amy
I made this quilt: https://www.diaryofaquilter.com/2012/02/simple-four-patch-baby-quilt.html with a similar vintage-inspired print as the focuse print with scrappy four-patch blocks. There's a link to a tutorial to make one at the end of the post.
