    Blooma Quilt & McCall's Magazine

Published: Apr 1, 2013 by Amy Smart · This post may contain affiliate links · 45 Comments

Last fall I was asked by Blend Fabrics to create a quilt for their booth at Fall Market using the Blooma collection by Jessica Swift.

I never shared the full quilt because at Market the quilt was picked up by McCall's Quilting Magazine to appear in an future issue! I was so excited!

And that issue has just been released: this quilt and accompanying pattern are featured in the McCall's Quilting May/June 2013 issue which is on news stands now.

Here is the quilt in full. It's called Boho Girl and it looks so pretty in the magazine spread. Kits are also available for this quilt.
And while I was looking for the images I took of the quilt last fall before I sent it off to Blend Fabrics, I found this good "behind the quilt blog" shot of my minions helping me with a super-professional photo shoot. I think it was on a night when we had four other things going on, but I wanted to snag some quick pictures before I needed to send it off the next morning. They are such patient, good sports. I love my minions.

Marvelous! Just the kind of quilt pattern everyone needs at hand. Perhaps this one will be the pattern for the 2014 graduation quilts!
