I'm excited to finally be releasing my final new pattern of the year - this one is designed for 10" precut quilt pattern (aka Layer Cakes) and is called Prep School Picnic.

The Prep School Picnic pattern is available now in my online shop. This version is made with my latest fabric collection, Sugarhouse Park.

The Prep School Picnic Precut Quilt Pattern

As I mentioned, this precut quilt pattern is perfect for using precut 10" x 10" squares (sometimes called Layer Cakes or 10" Stackers). It's also made with strip-piecing techniques so assembly comes together quick without having to cut lots of tiny little squares. (I'm all about shortcuts whenever possible!)

Here is another variation made with Bonnie and Camille fabric. It really is a fun one for showing off those precuts that you've had sitting around, waiting for just the right project.

I love the versatility of using precut squares- you get a great a great variety of useable prints without having to buy a lot of yardage. Another quilt designed specifically for 10" Precuts is my Sugarhouse Star quilt.

You can also find Sugarhouse Park 10" precuts available on Etsy. New 10" Precut Quilt Pattern for Prep School Picnic by popular Utah quilting blog, Diary of a Quilter: image of a Layer Cake Prep School Picnic quilt.

The Prep School Picnic pattern is on sale now in my shop for 25% off in PDF format and as pre-orders of Hard Copies (which are unfortunately still stuck in limbo at the printers). They will ship as soon as they arrive.

Hi Amy! I am in the process of making this quilt. I love it so much! You did a wonderful job! Curious, what fabric you chose for the back? I chose the blue and teal borders for my Prep School Picnic Quilt! Thank you so much!
