This book, available in both hardcopy an ebook formats, contains the patterns for 14 cheerful, contemporary quilts by some very talented and creative folks, whose company I am humbled to be a part of. I am so excited to use this book! Baby quilts are my absolute favorite quilts to create. I love making them for gifts, but I also probably love them due to my short attention span. Baby quilts are the perfect way to pull out new colors and fabrics and ideas, but because they aren’t big, they’re easier to actually finish. Then I can move on to the next big idea!
My contribution for this book – is called Crossweave. As are a lot of modern quilts, this quilt was inspired by a very traditional quilt block. I can’t say I’m a purist when it comes to defining ‘modern quilts’. I don’t really stick to definitions, I just create what I feel like making.
