Simple patchwork quilts are some of my favorites - especially when you just want to show-off great fabric.
You can find tutorial for this Fast Four Patch quilt here!
I love to make simple quilts and let the fabric do all the work. Especially when the fabric is large-scale or busy. I created this simple four-patch quilt to show off pieces of the Lecien Merry Bon Bon collection. The cute, retro-inspired prints create a quilt with a very vintage nursery feel. THis quilt was made in 2012 and sadly, fabrics are out of print.
Adding to the vintage-y feel of this quilt, it came out of the dryer especially crinkly thanks to the linen in the Merry Bon Bon fabric. I love the finished effect. So soft and snuggly.
This quilt was made as a sample for American Quilting in Utah where I used to work. Sadly, the Merry BonBon fabric is out of print, but you can use this as a great pattern for featuring other great prints!

Hi Amy.
I love this quilt and would like to attempt making it for my grandchild on the way. I went to the Lucien site, but I cannot find this fabric. 🙁 Could you be of any help in my search? The previous comments refer to this as a kit, although you didn't (I don't think 🙂 . Lol If that's the case, that's great, I just want to locate it either way. 😉
I hope you can help. And I'll say thanks ahead of time. 😀
Julie 🙂

Hi Julie! Since this post is about 5 years old, the fabric is probably next to impossible to find at this point. :/ But Lecien continues to make cute vintage-inspired fabric that would substitute great. Also, Riley Blake has some cute vintage prints right now. Search for fabric by Elea Lutz - she has some darling fabric prints what are vintage-inspired and so cute!!
