Modern Quilt Patterns

Katie Blakesley of Pattern Drop– a collection of Modern Quilt Patterns – recently made this updated version of my Hopscotch Quilt. I love it in the bright, modern colors!

She also modified the pattern to make this crib-size version. I really love it!

Katie used to offer a pattern of the month club, but that is no longer available. You can still find an awesome selection of modern quilt patterns for sale on the Pattern Jam website.

In other news, I finished my November blocks for the Fat Quarter Shop Patchwork Quilt Along. The November block is called Spinning Tops and you can find the free block pattern here.

The Patchwork Quilt Along is hosted by the Fat Quarter Shop as a fundraiser for the Make a Wish Foundation. Each month a free block pattern is released with a donation suggested to the Make a Wish Foundation. You can find links to all of the free blocks here.

I have to admit, I’m pretty dang proud that I kept up on these blocks. Only 1 more month to go. I can’t wait to put them together! They’re still looking so pretty on my design wall.
