Today the final quilt block pattern from the 2022 Riley Blake Quilt Block Challenge. was released! Now all 16 free quilt block patterns are available.
The fabrics I’m using for this project are prints from Liberty of London quilter’s cottons from the Flower Show Midsummer and Midnight Garden collections mixed with Riley Blake’s Confetti Cotton solids. I’m using Confetti Cloud as for the white background.

Also on my Sewing Table
Also on my sewing table this week: this stack of red and blue squares. It’s the end of the school year and I’m frantically sewing a quilt for a teacher who has made a big difference for our son that is graduating from high school this year.
Fortunately, 2020-Amy-Smart did me a big favor and cut lots of extra blocks the last time I made a plaid flannel quilt. When I went to pull fabrics I was hugely grateful to my past self that those squares were all ready to lay out and sew.
Especially since this quilt is getting made on a tight deadline! I got it off to the quilter last week, hoping to have it ready to present at an event next week. Wish me luck!

What a lovely gift for your child’s teacher! When I retired from teaching eight years ago, my class made a quilt for me which I treasure. One great teacher can make all the difference in a child’s life.
Amy
Agreed. This teacher has changed my son’s life and helped him find a path he is passionate about. So grateful!
